Samantha Villarini was chosen by her colleagues as the October Teacher of the Month for Camden's Promise. She is a teacher who exemplifies what it means to be a "Lion who ROARS" - Respectful, Organized, Acting with Empathy, Ready to Learn, and Safe. Samantha is currently in her first year teaching 5th grade at Promise, following in the footsteps of her grandmother, a retired teacher who taught in Camden for her entire career.
Ms. Villarini graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Childhood Studies, and completed the teacher preparation program with a student teaching component in Camden. She says, “a job offer from Dumbledore himself to work at Hogwarts would not make me leave this amazing school!”
